Supporting
Clamps for Hanging of
Self-Bearing Items (Like Cables)
Our major customer is ZAO TransTeleCom Company
that implements state program to deploy an advanced backbone digital
communication network in the Russian Federation by hanging fiber-optic
cables onto the current poles of the contact and automatic block
systems along railroad tracks of over 35 000 km in total length.
We had won the right under the tight competition with domestic and
foreign manufacturers of like goods. Our products were recognized
as the best in terms of technical design and quality while at minimal
cost. The technical council of ZAO TransTeleCom Company approved
an Advanced Support Clamp model, which we developed, and since 2001
ZAO TransTeleCom Company has been using only this clamp type
in construction of fiber-optic communications.
All models for sale are designed by Ninevia,
protected by patents
and certified
for compliance by the Communication and Informatization Ministry
of the Russian Federation that authorizes their mass production
at our plant. Besides, our clamp was tested by ERICSSON with
a conclusion that "the Russian-manufactured hanger meets
all of the Ericsson Cable AB requirements and is allowed to be used
with cable products".
The Supporting Clamps are designed for hanging
of either domestic or foreign manufactured fiber-optic cables of
10 to 18 mm in diameter onto the poles of contact or automatic block
systems of railroad or other networks with the span length of up
to 110 m.
The clamp construction includes metal case
(aluminum alloy covered with strong protective layer of durable
polymer), oil- and petrol resistant rubber bushes of the unique
patented composition, and mounting and fastening elements.
At present we have mastered mass production of
3 clamp types: SC
(Supporting Clamp), CSC
(Supporting Clamp with corrugated rubber bush) and ASC
(Advanced Supporting Clamp with corrugated rubber bush). The type
is selected to fit the envisaged operational environment.
The clamps have design life of 25 years in operational
environment as per 1 UHL Category in GOST 15150-69 Standard, i.e.
fit for outdoor usage at temperature range -60 to +55 °C with direct
exposure to sun and mechanical impacts like vibration, shock, wind
load and icing during winter.
All mass produced clamps are designed for slip
force of cable/case of 1.0 to 2.0 kN, and the value can be increased
up to 4.0 kN if ordered. The cable outer diameter of 10 to 20 mm
shall be specified at the time of order. The manufactured clamps
meet technical specifications as follows: TU-3185-001-44338317-98
(for SC and CSC) and TU-3185-002-44338317-2000 (for ASC).
All
clamps are patent-protected and certified by the Russian Federation's
State Communication Committee.
